It's all about our students...

UWS listens to industry leaders

UWS has fostered an active program of high quality research focused on local, national and international issues where our courses have been developed in consultation with leading industry practitioners. An external advisory board has been formed to provide advice and a wealth of information on the modern market place.

Industry feedback on the need for graduates to be both numerate and literate, and able to solve problems using a whole of business perspective rather than a narrow discipline approach, has been utilised with the design of the new UWS Business and Commerce degree.

Industry experts have been invited to offer their services by presenting case studies related to particular contemporary issues within various business disciplines and students will be involved in projects relevant to their business discipline with organisations located in the Greater Western Sydney region.

There is an expectation by UWS that graduates from their business courses will be ‘business ready' with not only the practical knowledge and skills, but with the experience of what it is like to work within their discipline addressing real world problems and developing real world solutions.

UWS Business...your business future is our business.
